Terry has been involved with theatre for many years at both the amateur and professional levels. He has worked in many areas including producing, directing and stage management. He has worked with most of the groups in this area including Ingersoll, Woodstock, Embro, Stratford and London. He was the producer for London Community Players’ award-winning The Diary of Anne Frank. He was awarded Best Director for the Embro production in 1949. His last involvement with SMCP was as director of Cabaret which won several WODL Festival Awards.
How did you first get involved with directing?
I started as a Stage Manager with SCMP in 1980 on Charly’s Aunt. Then I took directing courses with Theatre Ontario. The first show that I directed was Sorry Wrong Number.
You’ve directed with SMCP before. How many years have you been involved with SMCP?
Since 1978 – 40 years ago! My first involvement was building sets.
