Old Love

Old Love is a witty and heartfelt Norm Foster comedy about two people who discover that it’s never too late to find love.
Old Love is a warm, funny, and deeply touching romantic comedy from Canada’s most produced playwright, Norm Foster. The play spans three decades in the lives of Bud, a kind-hearted, recently divorced man, and Molly, the sophisticated wife of his former boss. Through a series of chance encounters—at office parties, in passing conversations, and eventually at Molly’s husband’s funeral—Bud carries a quiet torch for her, admiring her from afar while she remains largely unaware of his feelings. When life circumstances finally bring them together later in life, Bud seizes the moment to confess the affection he has harbored for years. What follows is a tender exploration of second chances, the courage it takes to open your heart, and the realization that love can arrive at the most unexpected times. With Foster’s trademark blend of wit and warmth, Old Love celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and reminds us that it’s never too late to find happiness.
